April 8, 2020:

 Please join us on our Facebook Page at 7:00 tomorrow as Pastor Heather and Rev. Sarah Kalish lead us in a Maundy Thursday Love Feast.  We will be sharing stories of moments when God's love has been shown through someone's sacrifice.  Make sure to have something simple to eat on hand!

March 24, 2020:

In support of Gov. Cooper's March 23 Executive Order banning gatherings of 50 people or more, Rev. Kalish of First United Methodist Church of Wadesboro and Pastor Heather will continue broadcasting weekly worship services via Facebook until further notice.  This week, we will broadcast from First Presbyterian's sanctuary.  Our leaders are already thinking forward towards Palm Sunday and Easter.  These services may look different this year, but we promise they will still be beautiful and meaningful.

The Interchurch Council's Holy Week gatherings have been cancelled.  Pastor Heather will make sure that daily devotionals are available here.  Dr. Harry Workman of First Baptist plans to post brief video devotions to their Facebook page.  More details about both of these options should emerge soon.  

We now have an option for online giving via Venmo.  Our user name is @FPC-Wadesboro.  As always, you can mail offerings to the church.  Our mailing address is:

Finally, make sure to check out the Youth Ministry tab for a few resources that are great for anyone who feels young at heart.  Our youth leaders are hard at work, so we should have more coming to this page soon.

March 20, 2020:

 Starting this Sunday, Rev. Sarah Kalish of First United Methodist of Wadesboro and our own Pastor Heather will be combining forces to stream weekly worship services.  Tune in to our Facebook page at 11 AM if you would like to watch the service live!  

For the foreseeable future, Pastor Heather will provide blog devotionals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  There is also an Creative Activities page that has offerings tied to each blog post.  The Youth Ministry page should start updating soon.

March 16, 2020:  

Starting today, physical gatherings at FPC Wadesboro are suspended until further notice.  This decision is part of our ongoing attempt to help address the thread of COVID-19 by promoting social distancing, which support and protect the vulnerable among us.  Worship materials and other resources will be posted to this website in  order to help us stay connected with one another and enable the Church to keep being the Church.  Our staff and volunteers are committed to helping our members and community as we are able.  If you are in need of pastoral care or some other form of assistance, please contact us by emailing fpcwadesboro@gmail.com  or calling us at (704) 694-3818.
